An oral cobalamin supplement with the added benefits of the metabolically active form of folate (5-MTHF).
Usage
For Cats & Small Dogs Each chewable tablet / capsule contains: 250 μg of Cyanocobalamin 50 μg of 5-MTHF Cats & Small Dogs < 22lbs: 1 chewable tablet / capsule daily. For Medium - Large Dogs Each chewable tablet / capsule contains: 1000 μg of Cyanocobalamin 175 μg of 5-MTHF Dogs 22-100lbs: 1 chewable tablet / capsule daily. Dogs over 100lbs: 2 chewable tablets / capsules daily.
Safety Information
This medication is a longer-acting supplement that appears to be very well tolerated in animals. Chloramphenicol should be used with caution when given with cyanocobalamin because it may decrease response to the drug. Long-term use of omeprazole or pantoprazole may reduce cyanocobalamin absorption in humans; veterinary significance is unknown. Be sure to tell your veterinarian about any medications (including vitamins, supplements, or herbal therapies) that your pet is taking.
