The ASU works synergistically with glucosamine and chondroitin to help support cartilage production and help protect existing cartilage from breakdown.

How to use

Give the initial amount daily for 4–6 weeks, then reduce to maintenance: dogs 10–29 lb, 1 chew daily (then 1 every other day); 30–59 lb, 2 chews daily (then 1 daily); 60–120 lb, 2 large-dog chews daily (then 1 daily) — or as directed by your veterinarian. For dogs under 10 lb, chewable tablets are recommended.

Safety information

For use in dogs only. Consult your veterinarian before use in dogs with known shellfish allergies or serious medical conditions. Store in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight with the lid tightly secured, out of reach of children.

It helps support cartilage production, helps protect cartilage from breakdown, and supports joint comfort and mobility using glucosamine, chondroitin, and ASU.

What is the difference between Dasuquin and Cosequin?

Cosequin provides glucosamine and chondroitin; Dasuquin adds ASU for broader cartilage support. See Cosequin DS Chewable Tablets.

Are soft chews as effective as the tablets?

Yes — the soft chews deliver the same key ingredient amounts per chew as the corresponding tablets; the choice mostly comes down to what your dog prefers.
