A safe and simple monthly topical medication used to protect your dog from heartworms, fleas, and ear mites

Usage

Revolution should be applied once a month using an applicator provided with the specific medication for your dog tailored to its weight or as directed by your veterinarian. Making sure that your dog is dry before applying, you may begin by holding the applicator upright and away from the face, you may push the cap down until you hear a click sound. You may then remove the cap to ensure the seal has been broken before positioning the tip of the applicator on the dog's back between the shoulder blades. Using the tip of the tube to part the animal's hair so that the medication will be applied directly to the skin, begin squeezing out the contents of the tube 3-4 times in one spot until empty. After administering the product, avoid contact with the treated area until dry. This product is effective 2 hours after application even after bathing, water immersion, or exposure to sunlight. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions. DOSAGE: The recommended minimum dose is 2.7 mg selamectin per pound (6 mg/kg) of body weight. Administer the entire contents of a single dose tube (or two tubes used in combination for dogs weighing over 130 pounds) of Revolution topically in accordance with the following tables. | Dog Weight | Strength | Potency | Volume | Dosage | |--------------|------------------------------------|-----------|---------|-----------------------| | up to 5 lbs | 15 mg Selamectin per tube (MAUVE) | 60 mg/mL | 0.25 mL | One tube once a month | | 5.1-10 lbs | 30 mg Selamectin per tube (PURPLE) | 120 mg/mL | 0.25 mL | One tube once a month | | 10.1-20 lbs | 60 mg Selamectin per tube (BROWN) | 120 mg/mL | 0.5 mL | One tube once a month | | 20.1-40 lbs | 120 mg Selamectin per tube (RED) | 120 mg/mL | 1.0 mL | One tube once a month | | 40.1-85 lbs | 240 mg Selamectin per tube (TEAL) | 120 mg/mL | 2.0 mL | One tube once a month | | 85.1-130 lbs | 360 mg Selamectin per tube (PLUM) | 120 mg/mL | 3.0 mL | One tube once a month | Revolution should be stored below 30°C (86°F).
